Today I'm reaching back a couple of years to 2001. This is just a fun song that I've liked since I heard it, so I'm pointing it out for everyone.
Cake - "Short Skirt, Long Jacket"
That's the video... I found a different version of the song that I didn't like so much on my usual site.
The video is entertaining for one thing - they have a bunch of people critiquing the song.
It's funky and energetic, plus the lyrics are just crazy. Not in the sense that they make no sense, though, they're crazy because they're funny. This whole image of the woman with the short skirt and the long jacket is very specific. I'm actually sort of considering it for a Halloween Costume.
The trick is going to be figuring out what color my nails should be to "shine like justice."

Hey there...I was looking for others who had this idea for Halloween to see if their ideas were similar. I have the requisite long jacket in place, making a short skirt out of saran-wrap to be different, and I have my Machete to cut through red tape. My date is going to go as "CAKE" which got complicated so he is wearing a wedding topper and a T-Shirt that says "Yes! I am the CAKE!"(our back up was him going as the red tape.) I hope is turned out well for you last year. What color "shines like justice?"
I think metallic blue is best. Justice is often associated with law, and blue is the color of law enforcement.
I had an idea for your date though - with the wedding topper (nice touch, by the way) - put something like mousse on top of his head (as icing), and cut a paper plate to fit around his neck like a choker. I'd tape the inside edges, to make sure he doesn't get a paper cut, though.
